Today I learned to play "operation ivy - knowlage" and it's put me back in touch with the instrument I play and gave me a kick up the arse, I've spent months writing songs trying to write bass masterpieces where the bass just doesn't sit still.
None of that shit matters you could put a three note wonder who loves what he does next to the smoothest bass player in the world who's grown tired of it all the three note wonder would win every time for putting on a good show.
And I think young musicians especially in the metal department look down on people who don't know technical words and lots of riffs. Truth is I think I'm not bad but I've came every step on true passion and love for what I do.
